CEDIA has revealed that controls firm, AMX, will once again be the Platinum sponsor for the CEDIA Awards, the flagship scheme which recognises excellence in design, integration and installation within the home technology sector across CEDIA Region 1 (the UK, Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, Africa, India and Pakistan).
"AMX is delighted to be the Platinum Sponsor of the CEDIA Awards scheme for the second year running,” says Kevin Morrison, MD and VP of AMX Europe. “The CEDIA Awards continue to set the standard in residential custom installation. The creativity of the participating companies remains impressive and the quality of the entrants is always outstanding. This area of the market is extremely relevant for AMX and our products provide significant benefits. We are proud to be a part of the awards scheme, which continues to promote understanding and good practice within the industry, through top quality submissions showing the very best of what the market has to offer.”
Last year the CEDIA Awards generated more than 160 entries from 15 different countries, competing for the accolade of top media room, home cinema, integrated home, superyacht and various other category prizes. This year’s scheme features a new, time-saving online entry process with a submissions deadline of Monday 7th April 2014. The Awards Gala Dinner ceremony will take place on Friday 11th July 2014 at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, London
As Platinum sponsor of the ninth annual CEDIA Awards, AMX will benefit from substantial branding in the run-up to the event, on the night itself, including exclusive sponsorship of the pre-dinner reception, and beyond in the specially commissioned CEDIA Awards Yearbook which celebrates the inspiring work of winners, finalists and other Awards entrants.
AMX is a pioneering company whose products have made technology easier to manage and more enjoyable to use. The company’s award-winning range spans control and automation, system-wide switching and audio/video signal distribution, digital signage and technology management. Today, as the AV industry moves towards an IP-centric model, AMX continues to lead the way with solutions that simplify networked installations and provide the ideal backbone for connected businesses and homes; highlighted by the Enova DVX and Enova DGX switching families. AMX has also re-invented the user interface by designing the world’s first panoramic line of touchpanels - the Modero X Series. More information is available at www.amx.com/eu.
