The annual CEDIA Region 2 Electronic Lifestyles Awards Banquet took place on Saturday 28th September. The Awards celebrates the work of designers, installers and manufacturers and also rewards those members who have shown special dedication to the industry.
This year’s Electronic Lifestyles Awards Banquet took on a ‘roaring ‘20s’ theme. Attendees celebrated the very best projects and products from the past year. The winners were selected by a panel of home technology industry professionals.
The US awards scheme has proven extremely successful and the 2013 awards scheme received a fantastic amount of entries. There were 40 winning projects in the Designer Awards Competition, while 14 manufacturers took home prizes in the Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards categories. The evenings celebrations also recognised Three CEDIA/HGTV Remodels People’s Pick winners.
CEDIA Fellows Program congratulates long time CEDIA members and volunteers who have contributed significantly to the association’s success. Leslie Shiner, a financial and management consultant, who has been a volunteer for over a decade, was recognised for her contribution to CEDIA.
Bob Schulter, Chief Engineer and founder of Middle Atlantic took home the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes an individual who has exhibited outstanding, creative, innovative, and visionary leadership in the growth and advancement of the residential electronic systems industry.
