CEDIA has announced a dedicated training event for the South African residential custom installation sector which will run first over three days in Cape Town (24-26 July) and then in Johannesburg over four days (28-31 July).
This is CEDIA’s sixth education event in South Africa, and promises an exciting range of technical and business training courses, in addition to Industry networking opportunities.
“As ever, we’re delivering an up-to-date range of courses to South African designers and installers. This will include the Art of Project Documentation, a one day Home Cinema Design Workshop, and CEDIA’s new Networking School and Residential Network Specialist certification,” says Matt Dodd, CEDIA’s Education Director.
Each of these courses will be available at both locations. Additionally, in Johannesburg, CEDIA will be running its CEDIA Certified Presenter (CCP) course for those keen to qualify as a future CEDIA course presenter. There will also be opportunities for existing, new, and potential members to find out about CEDIA and its activities, and network with each other, at a special Connect with CEDIA event on the evenings of 25th July (Cape Town) and 29th July (Johannesburg).
The organisation is also raising awareness of the custom home installation industry with two half-day architect/designer focused showcase events on Friday 26th July (Cape Town) and on Tuesday 30th July (Johannesburg). Aimed at design professionals, including architects, interior designers and developers, these tours will promote the benefits of high-quality home technology integration and professional installation.
