This course will explore and explain the documents that make up a successful project; from architectural plans, schematics, and wiring schedules, to specifications and final client sign off.

Attendees will learn how to read and understand documents issued by others during the project process and how to prepare, draw, and write their own.

Along with detailed drawing and documentation packs, the course will examine power requirements, heat output for racks and spatial considerations amongst others.

Topics covered include:

  • Design documentation package
  • Designing and drawing a simple audio visual head end
  • Project process documentation
  • Project scope documents
  • The designer's toolkit

Entry requirements:

This course is best suited to experienced individuals, or those with a CEDIA ESC-T Certification, who are looking to take their first steps into structured integrated systems design.
