CEDIA has announced the launch of a new one-day course designed to help residential custom installation companies use social media effectively in their business.
The Social Media for Business course, which takes place at CEDIA’s head office in St Neots, near Cambridge will equip attendees with the skills they need to deploy a social media strategy in their own business right away. The day features a mixture of formal teaching, group discussion, workshop sessions and individual goal setting tasks to provide a clear understanding of the various social media platforms. It will enable attendees to communicate productively using a variety of social media tools and help them measure the success of these activities against their company goals.
“Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest offer simple ways to get business noticed,” says Matt Dodd, CEDIA’s Education Chair. “They can help CI companies build awareness for high-quality home technology and the professional design and installation services they offer.
