CEDIA TEAM UP WITH TRADE SUPPLIERS FOR MEMBERSHIP GROWTH


CEDIA is delighted to recognise Buckinghamshire-based distributor, Aldous Systems (Europe) Ltd, as the first company to reach its target and receive £500 from CEDIA as part of its Trade Supplier Recommendation Initiative scheme.  

Launched in 2014, CEDIA’s Trade Supplier Recommendation Initiative Scheme was formed with the aim to grow CEDIA’s membership through word-of-mouth recommendations, whilst rewarding its Trade Supplier members. 

New installer members have the opportunity to share the name of the distributor who had referred them to CEDIA on its membership application form. Should a Trade Supplier member company achieve eight successful recommendations, it will receive a CEDIA jacket for each sales representative, along with £500 worth of CEDIA credit. This can be used for CEDIA membership fees, to purchase literature, training courses and awards tickets.

Audio-Visual Supplier, Aldous Systems (Europe) Ltd, is the first of CEDIA’s Trade Supplier membership to achieve this target in the scheme.

“I would like to congratulate Aldous Systems (Europe) Ltd for its performance in CEDIA’s Trade Supplier Recommendation Initiative scheme,” says Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA EMEA. “We rely heavily on our Trade Supplier membership to share their experiences with their customers, and it is for this reason we have launched the scheme, to reward those Trade Suppliers for their ongoing support of CEDIA and our industry. Their efforts are helping more and more installers realise the benefits of becoming a CEDIA member.”

Already in 2015, CEDIA has welcomed 78 new members, taking the current number of CEDIA members to an all-time high at 663 in EMEA, part of a global membership exceeding 3,500.
