CEDIA membership is continually increasing, with CEDIA currently having over a 3,700 strong global community of member companies worldwide that manufacture, design and integrate goods and services for the home technology industry.
CEDIA membership is not only designed to help your company become recognised within the industry; but also to provide you exclusive industry related training, literature, free and discounted tools, events as well as exclusive business-building opportunities.

What interested you in becoming a CEDIA member?
We wanted to gain the value of the accreditation and get our partners and designers certified designer status reinstated in order to further our business and its ongoing success. As we are keen to excel in the industry, we wanted to be able to access CEDIA training at discounted rates and also gain access to CEDIA’s member database.
How have you found being a CEDIA member so far?
Very good we have already got our partner Kelly Ashforth’s ECS-D certified.
Both partners myself and Kelly have attended the CEDIA presenter course, which came in very handy when we were asked to speak at the d-tools UK training event a week after we did the course
We have reconnected with and met a few new industry contacts through the above course, which has given us the potential to grow our business further within the industry.
What member benefit are you most interested in utilising?
The new CEDIA groups is something we are keen to explore, as well as getting involved in the various volunteering opportunities CEDIA offers; such as becoming a CEDIA educator.
We are also keen to get a design category added to the awards programme in the near future, to help promote design as a key to successful project delivery.
Has becoming a CEDIA member benefited your company, and would you encourage other professionals in the industry to consider CEDIA membership?
Definitely! In fact, we have already encouraged a couple of our clients to become CEDIA members.
I think the benefits of being a CEDIA member speak for themselves. We need to make sure end users are secure in the knowledge that they are dealing with professional reliable companies, which is what CEDIA membership stands for.
