CEDIA® has announced it will be presenting its latest CPD, ‘Smart Home Cabling Requirements for the Modern Home’ CPD in Johannesburg on 24th October 2016. As part of CEDIA’s four-day road show in South Africa where it will stop in Cape Town on 21st October, Johannesburg 24-25th October and Durban 26th October, this CPD explores the importance of a secure infrastructure for a modern day connected home.
Inspired by CEDIA’s Smart Home Wiring Guidelines, which is widely distinguished amongst the industry, CEDIA has developed its most recent CPD, ‘Smart Home Cabling Requirements for the Modern Home,’ to emphasise the need for a professional grade infrastructure for extra low voltage cabling. CEDIA EMEA Board Member and owner of Sphere Custom Design, Christiaan Beukes, will present this South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) accredited CPD, is worth 0.1 points.
“There is a well-known saying within our industry – ‘the most expensive cable to install is the one you forgot the first time round’. This course has been developed to ensure that this cable will never be missed,” explains Wendy Griffiths, Executive Director of CEDIA EMEA. “This course, which has now been accredited by various bodies, including the SAIA, will explain how to ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place to meet the needs of a modern day connected home.”
