Over the next two months, CEDIA will be present at two consumer shows, providing expert knowledge on home technology and promoting the importance for end users to work with a CEDIA member. This activity kicks off with the Homebuilding and Renovating Show on the 26th – 29th March in Birmingham, followed by Grand Designs Live on the 2nd – 10th May in London.
CEDIA is returning to the national Homebuilding and Renovating Show this year to provide advice on smart home automation and give visitors with the opportunity to find out more about the association and its members.
The national Homebuilding and Renovating Show is one of the UK’s biggest self-build and renovating events, drawing over 78,000 visitors; it is renowned as the market leader in the homebuilding field. Following a successful show last year, CEDIA is once again taking part in the masterclass programme, providing visitors with expert advice and ideas for their self-build projects.
CEDIA professionals including Jon Ireland (Sound Investment AV), Paul Clarke (Living Home Tech), Shaun Hawkins (Ashway Smart Homes) and Andy Baker (Baker Stone Systems) will be on-hand at the “Advice Centre” at the show to provide FREE expert advice to businesses and homeowners about smart home technologies and how to integrate these systems in the home.
A team of CEDIA staff and members will be available on stand G193 to speak to any visitors to answer questions and provide information about CEDIA’s work, and the benefits and opportunities of using a CEDIA member.
CEDIA will also be running 20-minute seminars daily on “Home Automation: An Introduction to Smart Home Cabling Requirements for the Modern Home”. These sessions are free and visitors are encouraged to arrive early in order to secure a seat:
