CEDIA Announces Young Professional of the Year

CEDIA is pleased to announce that Michael Sherman from Henri, France, has been awarded the Young Professional of the Year Award for 2019.

Michael Sherman is the owner and director of Henri, a custom integration company based in France. Henri was founded by Sherman’s grandfather in 1961 and he joined his father at the company 11 years ago. Sherman’s responsibilities quickly grew to involve the structure and development of the company, reflecting the values instituted by his grandfather – a taste for high-quality work, a profound respect for the team and clients, and a continuous pursuit of excellence.

Henri now includes 35 employees, operating out of two offices (Paris and Cannes). The company has become renowned in France as an industry leader, winning multiple awards. Sherman was recently awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in the greater Paris area by the France Chamber of Artisans. Henri became the fourth-ever CEDIA Member of Excellence, a distinction the company says is its greatest achievement.

Henri has been a CEDIA member since 1999, which has helped its continued evolution in the industry. Sherman has been a CEDIA volunteer his entire professional career. He served as a member of the EMEA Board of Directors for two years, was a CEDIA Awards judge, and he currently serves on the Membership Advisory Council.

This award was voted for by CEDIA's Professional Development Advisory Council.

Congratulations Michael!
